Ernst was the third son of Emil and Ida Hettich Gsell, who had four children. He and his siblings Emil, Christian and Ida grew up together under poor circumstances in Ellighausen / Switzerland. The school and later trained as a locksmith, he completed effortlessly and always with top marks. His professional career ranged from simple work as a locksmith, conduct a factory for the production of sewing machines, to a guided tour of a larger metal and electrical contractor. His passion was building a holiday home on a small Alp in Monte Carasso Ticino / Switzerland, which he pursued independently and determined over the years almost to perfection. He was a sincere and faithful husband and his children an understanding, amiable and umsorgender father who was always getting ready to help if you needed him. He was respected, respected and appreciated by all. We loved him very much. Ernst Hettich was born in Ellighausen, died in Kreuzlingen and was buried in Kreuzlingen.
